According to proclamation number 14/92 that was issued to
supervise road transportation the technique and vehicle
procurement department
is
best owed to give decision for the vehicles’ manufacture, the
contents that
ought to fit for the equipment’s weight, size and number of
passengers as well
as weight of freight. And also to control and blending
specification of any
vehicle’s quality of the imported or domestically
manufactured, assembled or partially manufactured. As well as
it is given the duty and authority to issue
instructions for standard decision to any vehicle maintenance
and repair garage, and also to supervise the implementation.
The department has three main sections and one garage
service.
